This Japanese giant centipede is quit frightening and should be.
Growing up to 15 cm this centipede with 21 pairs of
legs can leave you hurting after a bite. The bite can be very painful as
they are poisonous, and you will likely experience some swelling,
redness and possible scarring. If you get a good bite, you may have to
see a doctor.
Although they are blind, they get around at
night pretty well and eat smaller inscects by their great sense to
vibrations. . They are normally seen in pairs.
Not to scare you but they do like to sleep under
blankets and futons. |
